Kristina Ruslanovna Pimenova was born on December 27, 2005, in Moscow, Russia. She is the daughter of Ruslan Pimenov, a former professional footballer, and Glikeriya Shirokova, a former model. Kristina has an older sister named Natalia. Shortly after her birth, the family moved to France, where her father played for FC Metz, before returning to Moscow.
